Have you ever wondered what a Roman kitchen would be like? And what would the Romans eat?
It was precisely with these issues in mind that the Rua dos Correeiros Archaeological Nucleus opened the temporary exhibition “A Cozinha Romana” on 25 June, the first inclusive exhibition in this museum space.

This exhibition is also prepared to blind and partially sighted people. To this end, the archaeologists who guide the visits not only show the usual exhibition journey but have prepared pieces for a different way of seeing.

Visitors will thus find a recreation of a Roman kitchen, which is also prepared to be visited by touch. In this space they will have access to replicas that can be handled, contact with some ingredients and texts in Braille. The visit to this exhibition is part of the guided tours of this centre.
