
Eça de Queiroz Foundation and Millennium bcp Foundation announce the five finalists for the Literary Prize, which rewards a fictional work (novel) by a Portuguese author aged no more than 40 years old, published between 2021 and 2022. The prize, worth €10,000, aims to promote and encourage the production of literary works in the Portuguese language, as well as honoring Eça de Queiroz, one of the greatest national and international figures in Portuguese literature and culture.
The jury includes Bruno Vieira Amaral, Carlos Reis, Isabel Lucas, Luísa Mellid-Franco, Manuel Pereira Cardoso and from the Selection Committee: Ana Lorena Ramalho, Carlos Bobone and Helena Costa Carvalho.
The winner will be announced in September.
